Criterion Details Upcoming 'Godzilla: The Showa-Era, 1954-1975' Blu-ray Set

The Criterion Collection has formally announced a Blu-ray set containing, for the first time ever in the same collection in North America, all fifteen Showa-era Godzilla films, as its Spine #1000. The 8-disc set will contain the Japanese versions of all 15 films, the American versions of GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS! and KING KONG VS. GODZILLA, International dubs on six films, and a number of bonus features.

It has been confirmed that no other American versions but the two above listed will be included, and dubs (International or otherwise) for EBIRAH, HORROR OF THE DEEP and GODZILLA VS. GIGAN will also not be included.
