THE
BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS (1953) - Awakened from it’s arctic slumber, a
ferocious, giant prehistoric beast wreaks havoc on the seas then
arrives in New York city and proceeds to tear the city apart! Based on a
story by Ray Bradbury. Special Effects by Ray Harryhausen.
Q
- THE WINGED SERPENT (1982) - NYC police detectives are investigating a
string of horrifying ritual slayings when a giant mythic flying lizard
begins feasting on unsuspecting pedestrians in Larry (IT’S ALIVE)
Cohen’s tongue-in-cheek creature feature favorite!

OF GWANGI (1969) - A sideshow cowboy seeks fame and fortune by
capturing an ancient beast from the Forbidden Valley and delivering him
to the circus with disastrous results. Special Effects by Ray
Harryhausen!
MONSTROID
(1980) - A small South American village is attacked by a hideous
sea-serpent spawned by the unchecked pollution of a nearby lake. A
corporate trouble shooter is dispatched to deal with the carnivorous
creature and, of course, keep the company’s involvement quiet.
Saturday, July 25:
KING
KONG VS. GODZILLA (1962) - A pharmaceutical corporation wants to make a
big splash with their latest product, and capturing King Kong and using
him in their schemes is just the thing they’re looking for until a
recently revived Godzilla arrives and the colossal clash of all time
commences!
WAR
OF THE GARGANTUAS (1966) - A giant hairy beast, believed to have once
been fostered — in its younger, smaller years — by a good doctor, wreaks
havoc on the Japanese countryside, until it is discovered that there
are two ginormous gargantuas — one good, brown one; the other green and
bad — and an epic battle of behemothic beasts begins!
THE
MIGHTY PEKING MAN (1977) - When a titanic, towering beast is rumored to
be living deep in the Himalayan jungle, a group of adventurers set out
to capture the mountainous marvel, only to discover that it has raised —
and is very protective of — a pulchritudinous female “Tarzan” — and it
is very unwise to upset the big brute!
THE
GIANT GILA MONSTER (1959) - When a mammoth scaly saurian is found to be
dining on the residents of a small Texas town, the sheriff teams up
with the leader of the local hot-rod gang to dispatch the beast before
it spoils the big record-hop party!
Sunday, July 26th:
***Special Sunday Night Shock Show!***
FORDIDDEN
PLANET (1956) - An expedition from Earth to uncover the mystery of what
happened to a colony of scientists on Altair-4 discovers two survivors —
the mysterious Dr. Morbius and his attractive daughter — and a
monstrous alien creature that threatens to destroy them all! THIS is
the granddaddy of science fiction adventure films! Starring Walter
Pidgeon, Anne Francis, Leslie Nielsen and Robby the Robot!
HOUSE
ON HAUNTED HILL (1959) - Five people are invited to a party at a spooky
old mansion (in which a number of murders have been committed in the
past), by an odd millionaire who offers each of them $10,000 if they can
spend the night. When the doors are locked at midnight, and the guests
are soon visited by ghostly apparitions, they may not make it out
alive! Vincent Price stars in director William Castle’s classic
festival of fright!
