SUBMERSION OF JAPAN Coming to UHD from TOHO Visual Entertainment on 12/20/23

TOHO Visual Entertainment has announced they'll be releasing a 50th anniversary UHD/Blu-ray edition of the 1973 film SUBMERSION OF JAPAN (aka JAPAN SINKS, and released in 1975 in the USA as the Americanized TIDAL WAVE), and will come out on 12/20, the same day TOHO is releasing GODZILLA VS. HEDORAH and GODZILLA VS. BIOLLANTE on UHD.

The three disc set includes the film on UHD, Blu-ray, and a bonus BD including what's listed as "a shortened version of the film for overseas export" (which may include a dub, but the Japanese version is highly unlikely to feature English subtitles).
